“Ptice umiru pjevajući” (”Birds die singing”) is a beautiful ballad about the meaning of true love, for better or for worse, composed and performed by Damir Kulović Kule, with lyrics written by Samir Imamović, arranged by Nemdzad Alić and recorded in Studio Amadeus Bihać in mid December 2016.
Damir Kulović Kule, professionally known simply as Kule, born on August 17, 1969, originally from Tuzla Canton, the third of ten cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a very popular Bosnian pop-folk singer, already awarded with Golden Disc and Media Award at the Festival of Music Bihać 2015. Kule gained the sympathy of Bosnian and Balkan public with his gentle voice and his great passion for music, especially for pop-folk songs belonging to his native place, giving a large number of hits to his fans, such as “Sve je kao prije” (2010), “Minut do dvanaest” (2010), “Viski sa tugom” (2011), “Bolje lud za njom” (2011), “Znam da lažem” (2011), “Tamburalo” (2011), “Slomljena krila” (2013) or his duet with Selima Ahmić, “Ja bez tebe živjet ne znam” (2015).
